Obiettivi formativi
Il corso ha come obiettivo: l’acquisizione e/o il potenziamento dell’uso e della forma della Lingua Inglese approssimate al livello B2 del Quadro Comune Europeo; l’uso delle quattro abilità, ricettive e produttive in contesti diversi; lo sviluppo delle Life Competences; l’apprendimento della Lingua Inglese in contesti specifici (English for Specific Purposes for Primary Teachers); multilinguismo e pluriculturalismo; ELF; analisi testuale ed elementi di glottodidattica con applicazioni didattiche relativamente a Art and Craft e Classroom Management.
The course aims to the acquisition and / or enhancement of the use and form of the English language approximately level B2 of the Common European Framework; the use of the four skills, receptive and productive in different contexts; the development of Life Competences; multilingualism and pluriculturalism; learning English in specific contexts (English for Specific Purposes for Primary Teachers); ELF; text analysis and elements of language teaching focussing on Art and Craft and on Classroom Management.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
Al termine dell’insegnamento, in merito a:
CONOSCENZA E CAPACITÀ DI COMPRENSIONE: si dovrà dimostrare di avere acquisito un grado di conoscenza e di comprensione di contenuti linguistici (strutture linguistiche, comprensione e analisi di testi scritti e orali riferiti all'ambito di studio) almeno di livello B2 (CEFR).
CAPACITÀ DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE: si dovrà dimostrare di saper applicare la conoscenza acquisita e la comprensione dei contenuti didattici erogati, sia a livello di strutture linguistiche, attraverso il superamento della prova d'accertamento scritta finale (approvato/pass), sia a livello di glottodidattica, attraverso una presentazione orale incentrata sulle tematiche affrontate.
AUTONOMIA DI GIUDIZIO: si dovrà dimostrare di saper analizzare in modo critico e in autonomia il materiale didattico disponibile, e di proporre anche attività di autoapprendimento in autonomia.
ABILITÀ COMUNICATIVE: in linea con gli obiettivi formativi, si dovrà dimostrare di essere in grado di utilizzare la lingua secondo il livello B2 e di comunicare in inglese sulle tematiche di glottodidattica affrontate.
CAPACITÀ DI APPRENDIMENTO: si dovrà dimostrare una capacità di apprendere i contenuti didattici di un livello almeno pari al livello B2, nonché i contenuti di glottodidattica proposti (Art and Craft, Classroom Management), come descritto tra gli obiettivi formativi.
Expected learning outcomes, as for:
KNOWLEDGE AND LEARNING SKILLS: students must prove to have acquired knowledge and comprehension of language content – the structures of the language, comprehension and analysis of written and oral texts – at a level of competence equivalent to B2 (CEFR).
USE OF KNOWLEDGE AND LEARNING SKILLS: students must prove to be able to use the knowledge and the learning skills developed during the course by passing the final written examination (approved/pass), as well as at the level of glottodidactics, by creating a presentation focusing on the topics covered.
INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT:students will have to show that they are able to analyse the teaching material available in a critical and independent way, and to further practise the language with self-study activities, working independently.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:according to the overall goals described above, students will have to show that they have achieved a sufficient level of oral communication skills in English and that they can therefore use the language at B2 level and talk about teaching (Art and Craft and Classroom Management) and communicate in the classroom.
LEARNING ABILITIES:students will have to demonstrate to have developed a range of study skills in the subject area equivalent to B2 level, as illustrated in the overall goals.

Modalità di insegnamento
Il laboratorio si svilupperà in presenza, utilizzando strategie differenti in relazione alle attività proposte, dalla didattica frontale alla flipped classroom, dai lavori svolti in autonomia a quelli di coppia o di gruppo. Inoltre, in caso di insegnamento a distanza sono previste lezione in modalità sincrona.
The language laboratory will be developed in presence using different strategies in relation to the proposed activities, from the teacher-centred approach to the flipped classroom, from activities carried out independently to those in pairs or groups. In addition, lessons are provided in synchronous mode in case of distance learning.- Oggetto:
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
L'esame scritto finale verte su due prove differenti:
- prova di grammatica, con domande a scelta multipla e frasi da completare con elemento linguistico corretto, e un esercizio di 'reading comprehension', valutato in 30esimi (voto minimo per superare l'esame 18/30). L’esito positivo della prova conferisce 2 CFU.
- prova orale che si basa sulla presentazione del lavoro a progetto realizzato dagli studenti/dalle studentesse sull'argomento di glottodidattica studiato durante il corso. (voto minimo per superare l'esame 18/30). L’esito positivo della prova conferisce 2 CFU.
The final exam consists of two different tests:
- a grammar test, with multiple choice questions and sentences with gaps that the student has to fill in with the correct missing word, and a reading comprehension exercise, in a 30-marks paper (pass marks: 18-30).The positive outcome of the test grants 2 CFUs.
- an oral presentation based on the a project work created by the students focussing on the teacher training area covered during the course (pass marks: 18-30).The positive outcome of the test grants 2 CFUs.

Approfondimento e consolidamento degli aspetti linguistici, forma e uso, della Lingua Inglese; sviluppo delle abilità ricettive e produttive; riflessione linguistica e analisi testuale; applicazione di glottodidattica relativa a Art and Craft e al Classroom Management.

Present Simple and Present Continuous + state verbs; Imperative; Past Simple and Present Perfect; Past Simple and Past Continuous + used to; Present Perfect Simple and Continuous; Future forms: Present Simple, Present Continuous, Going to, Will; Future Perfect and Future Continuous; the Passive: all tenses + have/get something done + make, let, be allowed to + verbs with two objects; Conditional sentences: zero, first, second, third conditional, mixed conditionals; Wish; Reported Speech; reporting verbs.
Deepening and consolidation of the linguistic aspects, form and use, of the English Language; development of receptive and productive skills; linguistic reflection and textual analysis; language teaching based on Art and Craft and Classroom Management.
