Enhance previous knowledge in both the linguistic and teaching fields, in English

- Promote the following specific skills

* being able to interact fluently in English on the topics covered

* knowing how to plan didactic activities according to the topics of the teaching method addressed

* to be able to understand an English text and to answer open-ended questions about the text

* being able to recognise and use the grammatical structures part of the programme, according to level B2 of the CEFR

- Promote the following transversal skills

* knowing how to work in a team

* knowing how to search for online materials on the topics covered

* knowing how to use the course platform in eLearning mode

* being able to collaborate and cooperate during the activities in presence

The student at the end of the semester will be able to
- use the grammatical structures of the programme in written and oral form

- communicating on the topics of the glottodactics programme - ICT and didactics - in a fluent way

- use the appropriate vocabulary for the topics covered

- interact and converse in English on the issues addressed

Online: synchronous (Webex) and asynchronous lessons (recordings and slides)

Modalities of evaluation
Reading Comprehension: individual written proof, min 18/30 - max 30/30
Project Work: individual/torque/group test, min 18/30 - max 30/30
The use of English: oral test (online), min 18/30 - max 30/30
The final evaluation will be the average of the sum of the evaluations of each test, from min 18/30 to max 30/30
The workshop does not include numerical evaluation, but only approval, however, students will be given an indication of the evaluation in 30 out of 30.

The teacher will provide materials on line, both for the part of the language and for the glottodidactics.

English grammar in use, R. Murphy, Cambridge, 2019 (there are several versions, with Exercise key, eBook and supplementary materials)
Guidance will be given during the course for glottodidactics.
Non-attending students will be able to receive materials (presentations, videos) on request.
